IF YOU OWN AN ALPINE BUSINESS, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING FIRE INSPECTIONS – PLEASE READ
Recently in Tracy California an article was run in the paper stating “Businesses Ripped-Off by Fake Fire Inspectors.” This article caught my attention due to several complaints I’ve had from our local businesses.
Recently there have been individuals posing as a Fire Official requesting to conduct an annual inspection on our local businesses. This individual was very aggressive and threatened closure if not allowed to conduct an inspection. These individuals charge a large amount to conduct their inspection that’s why they are so insistent. The Alpine Fire officials have the Alpine Logo and badge on at all times. Don’t be afraid to ask for identification. Our department conducts our own annual inspection and they are free of charge. We do not contract private individuals to perform these inspections.
