Monthly Men’s Breakfast at Mountain View Bible Church – 7:00am
To all men – On Saturday, February 5, @ 7 a.m., you are invited to attend our monthly men’s breakfast. It’s a great time of music, fellowship, and of course, awesome food. Check it out! Associated Pageants of Alpine 11th Annual Father-Daughter Sweetheart Dance (or special brother, uncle, grandfather or friend!) Saturday, February 5, 2011. At the Alpine Community Center (1830 Alpine Blvd), from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Doors open at 5:30 pm – come early and get your FREE portrait taken.)
There will be Music, Live DJ, Dancing, Games, Refreshments, & Raffles
Proceeds benefit: The Associated Pageants of Alpine. Produced by the Council for Youth Empowerment, a 501 c 3 non-profit organizations.

Whole Raw Food Now Food Class (Part 2) -1pm to 3pm
Whole Raw Food Class , Part II, February 6th, from 1pm to 3pm. “Whole Raw Food, Part II” provides the opportunity to learn more about the health benefits of consuming a diet that includes whole, plant-based foods. The workshop provides approximately 30 minutes of information designed to be a continuation of the Introductory Workshop regarding food and its critical impact on the body. Glucose intolerance and high blood pressure are two of the topics that will be discussed. Our time will then shift to raw food creation, including a tasty, yet healthy smoothie, and a delicious raw entree. During food preparation, we will again discuss why certain ingredients are included based on their nutritional and antioxidant value.
Start the new year with a focus on health! Come join us for 2 hours of engaging, interactive discussion around the fascinating science and recipe preparation of whole, raw food!

The “Quiz Kids” Radio Show – Your child can participate!
Every Sunday, from 1pm to 2pm, the Quiz Kids Radio Program will Air on KCBQ. The Quiz Kids show features kids in either 6th, 7th, 8th or New this year, 9th grades as they compete against one another and at times, school against school by answering grade appropriate academic questions. No one goes home without a smile and some great gifts, tee shirts and more.
