Sunday, March 13th
Daylight Savings Begins TODAY at 2am!
Daylight Savings begins Sunday so don’t forget to “Spring Forward” and set your clocks ahead ONE HOUR on Saturday Night when you go to bed! Also please remember that this is the perfect time to change the batteries in your Smoke Alarms!
The phrase “Spring forward, Fall back” helps people remember how Daylight Saving Time affects their clocks. At 2 a.m. on the second Sunday in March, (March 13) we set our clocks forward one hour ahead of Standard Time (“Spring forward,” even though Spring doesn’t begin until late March, several weeks after the start of Daylight Saving Time). The change to Daylight Saving Time will also allow us to use less energy in lighting our homes by taking advantage of the longer and later daylight hours.
The “Quiz Kids” Radio Show – Your child can participate! 1pm – 2pm
Every Sunday, from 1pm to 2pm, the Quiz Kids Radio Program will Air on KCBQ. The Quiz Kids show features kids in either 6th, 7th, 8th or New this year, 9th grades as they compete against one another and at times, school against school by answering grade appropriate academic questions. No one goes home without a smile and some great gifts, tee shirts and more.
A limited amount of room is available for a studio audience. If you would like to attend or if you have a 7th, 8th or 9th grader that would like to compete, give me a call and for show details or to listen to past broadcasts, go to http://www.quizkidsradio.com Chuck Taylor 619-251-6998
