  Yes you can go to the Bethel across the street the hours are Tuesday – Friday 9:00a.m. – Noon & 1:00p.m. – 4:00p.m.

  Wow, I am so sorry! That doesn’t seem right at all? I do know that they had originally stated that they would be open till 11:30, then they called me and had me change it to 11am, so i did. But i wouldn’t imagine that if you showed up one minute late that they would turn you away? I know that it is hard enough to ask for help, let alone have that happen to you when you get there. I am so sorry….did you talk to the church about it? I do know that there is another food back across the street i at the other church i believe? Did you try them too?

  I drove 20 miles and it was 11:00 when I walked up to the site. I waited a moment for one of the volunteers to acknowledge me and they did – at 11:01 – but she turned me away and told me to come before 11:00 the next time. Things were not even put away yet. I was too shocked and embarrassed to reply.

  Who turns someone away in need of food on a one minute technicality?

  So, the time that is on the information that I was sent by them (1o to 11:30) is not correct now?

  One of the workers, Kai, did say that the pantry is open from 10a to 11am.
