Thank you once again to not only our local Alpine firefighters #17, but to Lakeside, San Miguel, a unit from El Cajon, San Diego County, as well as Cal Fire, US Forestry, and several other units which I can’t recall for once again keeping our hamlet safe from the fires that occurred today. How many ways can we say, WE LOVE YOU!!!!
It was great to see how fast the choppers were up making drops. Live up in Crown Hills and saw the fires. Great job to all the fire fighters.
WE SHOULD DO A LETTER OF COMMENDATION FOR THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO PUT OUT THE FIRE ON LA CRESTA ON MONDAY. IT COULD HAVE VERY WELL TURNED INTO ANOTHER WILD FIRE WITH THE WAY THE WINDS BLOW THROUGH THIS AREA AFTER 10 AM EACH DAY.
ANY COMMENTS OR SUGGESTIONS?
