Alpine’s Outstanding Citizens Are Honored at Alpine Leadership & Public Service Awards on November 14, 2011
The 17th Annual Alpine Leadership and Public Service Awards, Hosted by the Alpine Mountain Empire Chamber of Commerce was held on Monday, November 17th at the Viejas DreamCatcher Lounge to recognize the people, organizations and businesses that have demonstrated community leadership and public service.
This event also celebrated the Chamber’s 50th Anniversary. Significant anniversaries of Chamber members and businesses owned by military veterans were also recognized.
The Alpine Community Network’s creator and director, Angela Brookshire was awarded “Outstanding Citizen of the Year”.

My little idea (The Alpine Community Network) has grown into something HUGE and has become the go-to place for everything Alpine! I couldn’t be happier to be able to provide this resource to the amazing community of Alpine and I am very flattered to be awarded Citizen of the Year!” – Angela Brookshire
