Shut down by the County just days after opening – Canyon Raceway fought hard for their little track - with the community strongly behind them!
I just received this today from Carrie Ludeke of Canyon Raceway – 11-21-11
“Hi Angie! – Canyon Raceway is free and clear and ready to race! Dianne Jacob and Brian Jones stated the community response was beyond overwhelming! Because of this we were able to meet with Dianne Jacob and the supervisors at the county. They saw that we were not developing and not expanding. No permits needed! Dianne Jacob was very supportive of the track and was excited to see it re open. Thank you so much to all your readers and the very fine community we live in. We couldn’t have done it without you!”
We will be open this week for all the kids that are out for the holidays….
Monday–12-5
Tuesday–12-5
The rest of the week to be announced. Please check our website or facebook page for up to date information.
Thanks again!

Good work! It is hard to fight a system that is so overloaded with draconian bureaucracy. You are to be congratulated on your success. Thank you!!!
Good!
Get the goverment out of the way and the people can do just about any thing.
Glad to see Supervisor Jacob step up and help you guys.
More goverment less from the people, Less goverment more from the people.

Happy Thanksgiving
It’s so heartening when we see the little guy beat the governments ridiculous search for more money. Congratulations. Another venue to keep our kids off the streets and out of the malls. Another reason for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving.
This is good news! I’m really glad to see that our County Representatives were listening and responsive! Good luck on your endeavors, Carrie! For once, the people win!
