Many people have asked about the fencing that is across parts of Wright’s Field and some new additional fences that have been put up in the Northern area of Wrights Field.
Here are some answers that I have recieved:
Yolaine Stout – Development Director and Past President of BCLT responded with this information: ” Feel free to contact me or anyone at the Back Country Land Trust through our website at www.bclt.org if anyone has any questions. The area of Wright’s Field that we own is mostly surrounded by a wooden fence with steel cables. We allow people to walk, horseback ride and bicycle on our preserve and have left openings at various trail and entry points. However, from the east, people are crossing private property owned by individuals. One of the owners to the northeast of our property (off of Calle de Compadres) has installed a barbed wire fence to block people from walking on his property.
I hope this helps!
