$14,000.00 was raised for the Farmer’s family’s medical expenses!
Nocks for Nathan Fundraiser
I would like to send a little thank you to our amazing Alpine Community for your support during our recent fundraising efforts for Nathan Farmer and family. The ‘Nocks for Nathan” event on Feb. 26th raised over $14,000.00 for the Farmer’s family’s medical expenses.
The day could not have been more perfect, including the beautiful weather we were blessed with that day. We had approximately 75 Alpine baseball boys and softball girls participating in the hit-a-thon and they were joined by their parents, siblings and numerous others who came out just to support the Farmer family.
The day included yummy BBQ sandwiches, tacos, baked goods, face painting, music and over 25 raffle items and over 25 silent auction items. It would be almost impossible for me to list all of the amazing volunteers and donators as I am sure I would forget someone. So please forgive me for not mentioning your name or business name.
Alpine Tavern & Celene’s Fundraiser
Also a special thanks to The Alpine Tavern and Celene’s for their special night on March 5th where each business donated a portion of their proceeds to the Farmer family. Those two businesses combined totaled almost another $800.00 for the Farmer families medical expenses!
Once again, THANK YOU ALPINE and our surrounding neighbors who supported this special fundraising effort for this deserving, humble family and the sweetest 13 year old boy, who is still in Michigan recovering from his February 16th surgery! The amount of money we raised far surpassed our expectations and the Farmer family is overwhelmed with appreciation!

This was such a wonderful event! I know that a lot of work went into putting this all together. My heart felt thanks go out to all those involved. It really gave you a warm feeling seeing all the people that came out to help this family. To Nathan; I hear everything is going well. I am so happy for you and your family. I told you that you would have all the people of Alpine there with you, and it all started at this event. I’m glad my husband and I could be a small part of it. Come home soon! You have a lot of people waiting, with love, for you to arrive.
Awesome! So great to see all the people of Alpine joining together to help! That is why I absolutely love this town!
