Summer Education Classes
Offered for Incoming 1st Grade – 4th Grade
Summer classes are taught by a credentialed teacher with a 12/1 ratio. Each session will also include a field trip T.B.A
Classes are Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm
- July 9-12 & July 16-19 Edible Ecosystem $150.00 per week
Learn to grow and care for a small garden. Students will plant small patio or kitchen gardens, make a portable composter, and learn about the process by which organic materials break down. Monday the 9th will be all about Science: Ecosystem in a bottle.
- July 23-26 & July 30- August 2 Writing Across the Curriculum $150.00 per week
Mini-Workshops in Writing. Students will write in many genres and subjects, learning the importance of writing in everyday life. Monday the 23rd will be Science based making recycled paper.
- August 6 Science Day- Electrical Circuit 9am-3pm $40.00
- August 20 Science Day – Chemistry 9am-3pm $40.00
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required 2weeks in advance to ensure availability and to obtain supplies needed. Deposits will apply toward class fee. Students must bring a snack and a sack lunch each day.
