6-18-12 2:42pm – I just got an alert a few seconds ago about a Transformer fire (New Power Link) in the 4000 Block of Alpine Blvd. Line energized. Fire units doing structure protection only. I believe it is somewhere between Albertsons and Willows Rd?

This was all public, nobody gave a crap til now. SAD!
The fire looks as if its above ground?
Send it to The PUC,Dianne Jacob and the Alpine Planing Group.
SDG&E will only try and do what a cat does after taking a “Blank”.
I got it after the PUC called me and said we ” The Folks in Alpine” voted for this and the APG told me we can’t do a thing to help you.
Dianne Jacob sent me a letter stating the PUC is the problem.
Supervisor Jacob has work very hard to help us with all the problems in dealing with SEG&E and the Southwest Power Link.
Can we all say we got screwed by the PUC, SDG&E and APG!
Underground wiring catches fire, too? That may be but it’s self contained and not liable to create a major disaster above ground.
This needs to be sent to the regulators and to SDG&E to show them the proof. We need to demand a response about what they will be doing to prevent this kind of danger.
The tower in the image is the point at which the aerial lines go underground, and continue their journey under the community of Alpine. ‘Go play in the street’ has now taken on a whole new meaning.
Looks like Witch Creek Fire all over again. SDGE again! Put the utilities underground! The stupidity never ends..
This is so messed up – how many other sites will burn while the link is energized??! Underground wiring catches fire, too!!! Does Alpine Blvd. have fire coverage for SDG&Es profit??
Wonderful
Thanks
