On June 7, 2012 GOD placed it on my heart to gather bibles and deliver them to the homeless in Downtown San Diego. Maybe I can help people find GOD. Give people people comfort who are in a dark place and need somewhere else to escape. Maybe if people can find GOD by reading a bible, they can get off the streets and find a home. How awesome would it be to help people find their way off the streets because of their faith? I have read there are 8,500 homeless people in San Diego. 3,000 of them are Veterans. I have witnessed homelessness in Downtown San Diego since 1989 and over the last few years have seen some many more homeless people. They’ve created their own families on the homeless cement communities of most of the streets, under the freeway bridges and many hidden places.
