BOIL WATER ORDER AND PUBLIC NOTIFICATION FOR ALPINE
UPDATE: I just found out some more info on this… it only effects 34 homes on Willowside Trail in Alpine…
The County of San Diego, Department of Environmental Health (DEH) has issued a Boil Water Order and Public Notification for Willowside Terrace Water Association located at Willowside Trail, Alpine, CA 91901 effective immediately.
The drinking water system has tested present for E.Coli and total coliform bacteria. The presence of E.Coli bacteria indicates that the water may be contaminated with human or animal wastes. Health effects can include diarrhea, cramps, nausea, headaches or other symptoms. E.Coli may pose a special health risk for infants, young children, some of the elderly, and people with severely compromised immune systems. Total coliform bacteria can come from soils and other sources in the environment and can indicate a problem with the water supply system. The Boil Water Order was issued to ensure all water used is free from contamination. The Boil Water Order will remain in effect until the distribution system has been disinfected and additional samples confirm the absence of bacteria in the water supply.
For more information on the Boil Water Order, please contact Jerry Hartman, at (619)445-0522.

Not sure about that Angie. On July 3rd, I started to get stomach pains/cramps,diarrhea and a few other symptoms. This
happened shortly after I ate lunch at my home on Tavern Road.
It wasn’t until last night that these symptoms finally ceased
and I thought it might be food poising or E.Coli, but could not
figure out how I might have picked this up, since the food I ate
were leftovers that I did not have a problem with the first time
I had them.
I don’t know where the Willowside Trails area is, but I would suspect that more than 34 homes were affected, since I had a small glass of water that day from the tap to take my vitamins with right after I had my lunch. Normally, I drink bottled water, but did not have any handy.

This order does not effect Padre Dam customers.
great
Is this for the entire city of Alpine?
