Honey Festival Saturday August 17th
Did you know that Alpine was once the “Honey Capitol of the World”? We were the home of John Harbison, an enterprising and innovating apiarist (Bee-keeper) who put us on the “honey” map. We will celebrate our honey heritage on August 17th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. right here at Christ the King Episcopal Church with our 2nd Annual Honey Festival. There will be lots of entertainment, in fact, it’s rumored that Ole John Harbison himself is going to be there! We will also have many fun activities and delicious food – all made with honey. It will be fun for everyone so invite your friends and family and a sweet time will be had by all!
Admission is FREE, for more information please call 619-445-3419 or visit our website at www.christthekingalpine.org
