    2 people showed.1 of them was myself. A board member said that was because people of Alpine don’t care. I think people here do care, Maybe if the group were to do some community outreach, they would see better attendance. I made that suggestion. Something as simple as putting up a sign on Alpine Blvd near the community center where the meetings are held could help the turn out. But there are other ways to notify people and get people’s attention. Think creatively, and with the pocketbook in mind. Encourage people to say what’s on their mind, whether you agree or not. In other words, Listen, and be an inviting presence.
