Lily, a Beautigul Shiba Inu/Beagle Mix!
Lily is a beautiful 1-1/2-2 year old Shiba Inu/Beagle mix with the sweetest brown eyes you’ve ever seen. Lily was rescued off the streets of Tijuana in very bad condition (see ‘ before’ picture). Because of her sweet temperament, a rescue group in Tijuana saved her life. She is very sweet, inquisitive and ready for fun. She is very calm, quiet, playful and loving. She gets along well with other dogs and people and wants to learn. She is house trained, not destructive at all and knows how to use a doggie door. Lily would be great with a family or an individual and would love sharing new adventures with them. She has been spayed, wormed and is up-to-date with her Distemper/Parvo shots. Medical records will be provided. Lily weighs about 30 lbs. A home visit will be conducted to help ensure the right home for her and her new adopter. An application for adoption will be requested. Lily’s rehoming fee is $100. You can call or text me at 619-964-1181 or email me at Pam.Lawless@gcccd.edu.
As always, thank you for considering adopting a dog who needs a home, rather than buying one from a breeder (and never buy from anyone who would be willing to ship a dog to you without first meeting you and you, them).
Admiral, the German Shepard
Meet Admiral! This almost 5 year old Male sweetheart loves to play fetch and run around the yard. He really loves his human companions and is a great protector of the home and family. He’s very active, affectionate, playful, and talkative, and loves to fetch and ride in the car. He loves a good cuddle and being near his people. He is neutered, has been through basic obedience classes, listens well to commands, and is house-trained. He’s great with children, men, and women!

“Sassy” the Sweet LOVE BUG
It’s heartbreaking that our Sassy has not found her forever human/family. In January we were so close. A family met Sassy and fell in love, they adopted her but returned her a few days later. The hopes was that she would make an emotional support dog for the families young son. But Sassy did not take to the family cats and began testing limits, her new family was unable to meet her need of a confident dog owner. Despite doing all the right things in preparing to bring her home.
Sassy has now been in foster care 490 days, she is a 7 yrs old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, when we found Sassy she loved her whole life outside chained to her doghouse/ used for breeding. Sassy lives with her foster mom Moira, who is also a dog trainer, in Lakeside, she is crate trained, knows basic commands, she loves walks and being outdoors.
Despite her past life Sassy is a love bug with lots of energy. She is a very smart girl who enjoys learning new things. Her exuberant energy needs a place to run around at times, and with clear direction from her human, she thrives. Sassy needs a home with the right human who has dog experience and who is able to set limits and boundaries with her. She would do best in a home with no cats, and is at her best as the only dog. With the right person who can give her the direction and she needs, she aims to please and has lots of love to give.
If you’d like to meet Sassy please call either Stephanie at 760-815-8464 or Sonnya at 619-249-3649 or email The Miracle Foundation SD at miraclefoundationsd@gmail.com
“Zee Bee” Male Indoor / Outdoor Cat
I am looking for a home for this sweet boy.. He grew up as an indoor cat but for the last two years he has primarily been an outside cat. Comes in and out.. he is very lovable loves to snuggle. May need some time to adjust back to indoors. He’s fixed, just need someone that will love him and spend time with him adjusting, maybe an older companion ♡ please get the word out as I have very little time to find him a home.

Barn + Mice = CAT
Since 2015, Love Your Feral Friends has been been placing at risk felines in Barn Cat Programs. We are dedicated to saving the lives of fear cats who are impounded at animal control facilities and, for one reason or another, cannot be returned to their original habitats. These cats are healthy, sterilized, vaccinated, and in dire need of a new outdoor home, such as a barn, stable, garage, or warehouse.
These cats are typically not suitable to be indoor pets and have no desire to be lap cats. These are working cats, former street cats who are used to outdoor life, prefer minimal to no human contact, and who will happily tend to your mouse, mole, chipmunk, or vermin problems for the small cost of a bowl of cat food and water set out daily, and shelter in our garage or barn. And because we spay/neuter and vaccinate these cats prior to them coming to your farm, you never need to worry about endless litters of kittens!
We also have “Social kitties” available for adoption HERE (These cats and kittens are NOT available for adoption through our Barn Cat Program. They have been worked with by our wonderful foster volunteers and are ready for their fur-ever homes. They are looking for indoor only homes.)

It’s The Pits is a 501c3 canine rescue that coordinates the fostering and adoption of dogs that haven’t yet found their permanent home. We specialize in American Staffordshire Terriers (“Am Staffs”), Staffordshire Bull Terriers (“Staffy’s”), and American Pit Bull Terriers, but will do our best to help all breeds, often by referral to other local rescues that specialize in that type of dog. We work alongside our fosters to give the dogs a temporary and loving home before they are placed into permanent homes. We rescue dogs from various shelters, evaluate them, ensure they are healthy, and then match them with the appropriate family. We take pride in matching the best dog for the individual family that contacts us. We do this by matching the activity level of the dog to the family’s needs, as well as making sure that the other pets in the home work well with the new addition to the pack. All of this is important in finding the forever home for our rescued pets.

About Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego
We are a rescue consisting of an all volunteer organization where all of our dogs are in private homes everyday. We do not have a shelter and our dogs are not kept in cages. Our dogs are from county animals shelters or from previous owners that are no longer able to care for their dog. All of our dogs are started on housebreaking, however, we do not guarantee that they will be housebroken. We offer education on how to housebreak a dog as well as other information on different situations. Every dog is spayed or neutered, current on shots, dewormed, frontline for fleas and ticks. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!!!
Our Adoption Process… An application is required prior to visiting a dog. This enables us to pick the dog we feel is best for your situation. http://www.rescueachihuahua.com/PDF/application.pdf
