ACPG Statement: The Alpine Community Planning Group was formed for the purpose of advising and assisting the Director of Planning, the Zoning Administrator, the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors in the preparation, amendment and implementation of community and sub-regional plans.  The Alpine Community Planning Group is an advisory body only.
  5. Open Discussion: Opportunity for members of the public to speak to the ACPG on any subject matter within the ACPG’s jurisdiction that is not on the posted agenda.

  7. Organized / Special Presentations
    1. The owner of a 0.75-acre lot located at 2115 Arnold Way and Olivewood Lane in Alpine has applied for a discretionary permit for a site plan exemption to develop a 13-unit townhome project (PDS2018-STP-18-030). The lot is zoned Village Core Mixed Use.  Water service shall be provided by Padre Dam and the project will connect to sewer.  NOTICE – The county of San Diego has noticed the group that this project does not require a recommendation from the ACPG.  All public feedback will be directed to Alpine Design Review Board and the County of San Diego PDS.   Information Item Only.
    2. The owner of a 25.66-acre parcel located at 7177 Horsethief Canyon Road, Alpine, CA 91901 has applied for a discretionary permit for agricultural clearing (PDS2018-AD-18-023). The application requests to clear existing vegetation in order to allow for agricultural planting.  The group may make a recommendation to the County of San Diego on this application.  Presentation, Discussion & Action.
    3. At the October 11th & 25th, 2018 meetings of the ACPG the County of San Diego presented for discussion the Draft Goals and Policies for the Alpine Community Plan Update. The planning group will continue the review the recommendations from the county and may make a recommendation on:
      1. Consensus Goals and Policies
      2. Goals and Policies that were requested for further discussion

  1. Presentation, Discussion & Action.
  1. Group Business:
    1. Oath of office for Seat #3 – Colby Ross.
    2. Members of the public interested in serving on the Alpine Community Planning Group can make a statement to the group about their credentials and desire to serve. Group may make a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors to fill the vacancy for Seat #7.   Discussion & Action
