ACPG Statement: The Alpine Community Planning Group was formed for the purpose of advising and assisting the Director of Planning, the Zoning Administrator, the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors in the preparation, amendment and implementation of community and sub-regional plans.  The Alpine Community Planning Group is an advisory body only.
  5. Open Discussion: Opportunity for members of the public to speak to the ACPG on any subject matter within the ACPG’s jurisdiction that is not on the posted agenda.

  7. Organized / Special Presentations
    1. County of San Diego staff from the Code Compliance division will make a presentation to the Group regarding the services offered and how code compliance cases are evaluated and addressed. Following the presentation, the code compliance team members will answer questions from the group and members of the public.  Presentation & Discussion Only
    2. The owner of a parcel located on Midway Drive (APN 403-191-07-00) has requested to make an initial presentation to the Group regarding a site plan project (PDS 2018-IC18-068) they will be submitting to the County. The proposed project is for a new 65-unit apartment complex.  The proposed project is comprised of three separate buildings, with basement garage parking and minimal on-grade parking for visitors, ADA, etc.  The project will be served by Padre Dam water and sewer from the County of San Diego sanitation district.  Presentation & Discussion Only
    3. On January 26th, 2019 the County of San Diego Planning and Development Services staff held a workshop at the Alpine Community Center and presented and received feedback about potential land use alternatives in the Alpine Community. The staff presentation and land use maps can be reviewed online at:  The planning group will review the land use alternatives and discuss recommendations.  Presentation, Discussion & Action
