Photo Workshops with Kathleen Reeder at Lions, Tigers & Bears – March 16 & 17, 2018

Full Day Workshops offered March 16 & 17, 2018 from 6:30 am2:00 pm

“Photographing wildlife is one of the most rewarding areas of photography. It touches our emotions, is dynamic and fast moving, and when we feel the connection, it changes peoples’ lives! As your instructor, I promise to bring you opportunities for being near and connected to a variety of wildlife, to maximize the number of wildlife photo opportunities in the limited time we’re together, to prepare you in advance so you know what to expect, and to be your co-pilot as you capture the essence of those special moments with your camera”.
– Kathleen Reeder

Kathleen will prepare and guide you to capture the feelings and the beauty of the rescued animals. This private workshop consists of both an Online Webinar Presentation on March 12 and an exclusive photography event on March 16 & 17 at Lions Tigers & Bears, with many unique and exciting features:

This one-of-a-kind workshop includes:

  • An all-day photo workshop at Lions Tigers and Bears in Alpine, California (short drive from San Diego).
  • Online instructional webinar in advance of the workshop covering composition tips, camera settings and recommended gear.
  • Exclusive opportunity to photograph the animals in early morning light.
  • Hands‐on assistance in photographing wildlife.
  • Treats to encourage the animals to pose and perform natural behaviors in their habitats that make best use of the light of the day.
  • Mid‐morning snack and lunch for participants
  • Signed copy of Kathleen’s book Capturing the Moment, The Art & Science of Photographing Wild Animals.

Workshop size is limited to 12 participants so you will have plenty of one‐on‐one time with Kathleen throughout the workshop to ask questions and get coaching specific to your individual photographic needs.

Volunteer at Lions, Tigers & Bears Animal Sanctuary in Alpine!

LTB Volunteer

Lions Tigers & Bears can always use your help!

Becoming a volunteer is one of the greatest ways to give back to the rescued animals that call Lions Tigers & Bears home.

Our primary purpose is the security and comfort of our animals. To this end volunteers help across our organization to accomplish this goal. Be it working on a mailing for an upcoming fundraiser or building a fence – there is no task that is any more or less important if the end result helps our rescued animals. All of our volunteer duties require extra effort and the dedication on the part of those who are willing. Your desire to help is greatly appreciated!

Just a few of the many duties LTB needs volunteers for:

LTB Volunteers · Office Help
· Carpentry
· Landscape Architect
· Graphic Design

End the Year Giving! Donate to Lions, Tigers & Bears Wild Animal Sanctuary!

Breakfast With Bakari, Lions Tigers and Bears, Alpine Ca., 91901As we approach the final days of 2016, and look ahead to what’s in store for this next year and beyond, together we continue to move closer to the victory of ending the exotic animal trade. With eight new rescued exotic cats this year, we believe we will win the fight for all animals and give them what they all deserve – a life filled of freedom and love. There are countless animals remaining in deplorable and abusive conditions who desperately NEED OUR HELP. With supporters like you, we are able to dedicate our lives saving animals who deserve a second chance at a better life. Will you please  DONATE TODAY so that together we can continue to save these animals and provide the most enriching, compassionate care to the lucky rescues who call our sanctuary home?

Lions Tigers & Bears in Alpine, California

With more mouths to feed, more habitats to maintain and more medical care to provide – our daily costs for care also increase. Along with the daily care for our 65+ rescued animals, other sanctuary costs include utilities, insurance, veterinary care, vaccinations, flea-control medications, animal enrichment and the list goes on!

Please help us start 2017 strong. Your year-end gift will help us continue to rescue animals in desperate need, provide lifetime homes with proper care, and educate and inspire the community to speak up against the exotic animal trade.  Your generous donation is tax deductible – and no donation is too small.

Lions Tigers and Bears LogoWe never forget for a single moment that it is you – our dedicated supporters – who make it possible for us to do the important work we do. Your support is the driving force behind every life saved. On behalf of our staff, volunteers and rescued animals we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Wishing you and your loved ones a happy, healthy holiday season and a Happy New Year!

Sincerely yours, Bobbi Brink, Founder/Director – Lions Tigers & Bears
