    1. The Alpine Community Planning Group previously recommended approval of a Site Plan for development of 17 residential units on the property located at 3087 Honey Hill Ranch Road, Alpine, CA 91901 (STP-15-013). The county has notified the owner of the property that improvements included in the proposed project will require the county to vacate 8 feet of right of way along 335 linear feet Suncrest Vista Lane to the project.  The county has requested a recommendation from the planning group regarding the vacation of the county right of way.  Presentation, Discussion & Action

Good evening Alpine. The Planing Group’s “Parks, Trails & Conservation Subcommittee” is planning a community parkland meeting on Tuesday, March 5th at 6:00pm at the Alpine Community Center. The purpose of the meeting is to receive input on the types of facilities and services Alpiners may want on a County-owned Alpine Community Park to be built on Wright’s Field. Alpine Community Plan Update: Zoning and Design Guidelines Workshop – March 2, 2019

The County of San Diego’s Department of Planning & Development Services (PDS) invites you to attend a public meeting of the Alpine Community Plan Update: Zoning and Design Guidelines Workshop. At this workshop, attendees will learn about the community’s existing zoning and design review process, hear about the update of the County’s Land Development Code and provide input on future zones and design related policies for the Alpine community.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM at the Alpine Community Center (1830 Alpine Blvd., Alpine, CA 91901). Parking is provided on-site.

PUBLIC MEETING: Alpine Community Plan Update – Planning Concepts Workshop – January 26, 2019 (Saturday). The County of San Diego Department of Planning & Development Services (PDS) would like to invite you to attend the third public meeting of the Alpine Community Plan Update: the Planning Concepts Workshop. At this workshop, attendees will learn about the community’s existing land uses and have the opportunity to provide input on the future land use and mobility plans for Alpine. The workshop will be on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Alpine Community Center (1830 Alpine Blvd, Alpine, CA 91901). Parking is provided on-site.

Re-Planting Alpine Boulevard: Town Hall Meeting OPEN TO THE PUBLIC – October 10, 2018

BCLT (The Back Country Land trust) and the Alpine Chamber of Commerce are leading an effort to re-plant Alpine Boulevard with native plants! Two town hall meetings have been scheduled for October 10th – afternoon and evening – so everyone has a chance to attend. We’ll be meeting at the Alpine Library from 12:30 to 1:30pm and from 6-7pm. Business owners interested in signing up for this program and volunteers wanting to participate in re-landscaping our main street are encouraged to attend.
