Camp Oliver is pleased to announce its Wine & Roses Charity Wine Tasting Fundraiser.  It will be held on June 23, 2019 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Carmel Mountain Ranch Estate, 14050 Carmel Ridge Road, San Diego CA  92128. Whether it’s making friends, hiking, archery, swimming, or any number of other activities, Camp Oliver for over 60 years continues to provide a place where children experience love, warmth, laughter, friendship, and make memories that last a lifetime.  Located in the Descanso mountains, our Mission is to provide a safe, caring environment for all children, youth, and adults so they can appreciate and value themselves, others and the natural world around them. Your attendance at this event lets local children, who otherwise could not afford it experience camp this summer.  Your ticket to the event includes entrance to the event and the Silent auction, wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres.   Tickets start at $100.   Go to Wine & Roses at to purchase tickets or make a donation. Fundraiser at the Alpine Tavern & Grill in Memory of Ethan Hollander – June 13, 2019

All are invited to join us for a fundraiser in loving memory of Ethan Jerad Hollander on June 13, 2019 from 5pm to close at the at the Alpine Tavern & Grill (2502 Alpine Blvd., Alpine Ca. 91901) 20% of all food & drink proceeds will be donated to the Hollander Family. Ethan was 27 years old and lost his life on June 1st on Olde Hwy 80 in the Flinn Springs area. He was on his motorcycle when the driver of a car made a u-turn into his path. His family asks everyone to please take extra care to look out for motorcycles when they are driving and to not just look ONCE, but TWICE… It can mean the difference between life and death and a lifetime of heartbreak for a family. -Drop off your items between 10am-11am. WE WILL SORT the clothes for you!
-Enjoy refreshments and raffle opportunities while you wait
-Doors open at 11am for shopping
-Take as many items home as you want. THERE IS NO LIMIT!

Pancake Breakfast & Horseshoe Tournament Fundraiser at Alpine American Legion – June 8, 2019

The Son’s of the American Legion has started a scholarship program and we are having a fundraiser June 8, 2019 at the American Legion in Alpine (3328 Alpine Blvd) . It is an ALL DAY event, starting with a pancake breakfast 8am-11am, followed by a horseshoe tournament 10am – 5pm and a live band (“Somebody’s X) outside that starts at noon. We will also have raffles all day. Dinner that day is smoked tri-tip. Adults $8 and kids 12 and under only $5. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Annual High School Academic Scholarship Fund. We will have a car show, Vendors, rock painting, #LOVEFORLUKE swag, face-painting, airbrush tattoos, fabulous live music, food, shaved ice, horse draw cart rides, free book exchange, an AMAZING silent auction including trips to Hawaii, date nights, spa days, and so many you just have to come see!!!!

About Luke: Luke Hayworth is an 8-year-old little boy whose energy, sweetness, and silliness bring joy and light to everyone he meets. On December 26th, his family’s world was shattered when he was suddenly diagnosed with Leukemia.

Luke and his family have a long, exhausting road ahead of them. So many have asked me how they can help and I am hoping this page will be a positive and supportive way to provide that help when it is needed and love always.
